Air Force Tuition Assistance Tuition Assistance can be used for the following:

• Institutional charges directly associated with a course that is eligible to be covered by the Air Force tuition assistance.
• Costs associated with the completion of programs for Service members who have not been awarded a high school or equivalency diploma and who are enrolled in such programs.

Air Force Tuition Assistance cannot be used for the following:

• Graduation fess
• Tuition covered by other federal benefits
• Tuition for degrees or courses lower or equal to a degree already attained
• Tuition for repeated courses or courses equivalent in content to a course already completed under the Air Force tuition assistance
• Non-instructional purposes such as parking fees, student activity fees, medical services
