The Tuition Assistance (TA) program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty education programs in support of an Airmen's professional and personal self-development goals. Starting October 01, 2002 the amount of coverage that the Air Force Tuition Assistance provided increase to 100% from 75%. Caps are in place to limit the amount of coverage that Air Force tuition assistance provides per credit hour, but most will find that the 100% coverage that the Air Force provides will be more than enough to further their education.

All qualified Airmen are authorized to participate in the Air Force tuition assistance program. Both Air Force Officer and Enlisted active duty personnel and Air Force Reservists are authorized Air Force tuition Assistance.
