High School Diploma for World War II Veterans

About: The 2000 Florida Legislature passed legislation authorizing the Commissioner of Education to award a high school diploma to honorably discharged World War II Veterans. These diplomas are for any Veteran who currently resides in Florida, regardless of whether they were living in Florida at the time they went to high school. Also, Family members who would like to apply for a diploma posthumously for a Veteran who has died may do so.
Eligibility: Must be a Florida resident; inducted into military service between September 16, 1940 and December 31, 1946; received an honorable discharge; started high school between 1937-1946; and scheduled to graduate from high school between 1941-1950.
