Wisconsin State High School Diplomas

About: Local School Boards in the state of Wisconsin, under the authority of Wisconsin Statutes section 120.13 (37), may award a high school diploma to Veterans who left high school before receiving a high school diploma to join the U.S. armed forces during a statutorily designated war period.
 
Eligibility: The high school diploma may be awarded if the Veteran meets all of the following requirements: Is at least 65 years old, or is at least 55 years old and has a service-connected disability; Attended high school in the school district, or attended high school in Wisconsin and resides in the school district; Left high school before receiving a high school diploma to join the U.S. armed forces during a statutorily designated war period; and Served on active duty under honorable conditions in the U.S. armed forces (including the National Guard or Merchant Marine).
