Alabama Military Dependents' Scholarship Program

Dependents' Scholarship Program: Free tuition, books, and instructional fees at state institutions of higher learning or prescribed courses in trade school (36 months maximum). Training must be completed within 8 years. Training period may be extended due to training delays caused by military service during training period or accident, injury, or illness during training period which delays training.

Eligibility: Veterans must have been permanent AL resident for one year immediately prior to entry into service. Veteran applies prior to age 26 which may be extended to age 30 in certain cases. The dependent of service-connected, totally-disabled veteran may qualify if veteran has been a bona-fide AL resident for five years immediately prior to date of application or date of death if veteran is deceased.

Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program
Children and spouses of active duty, guard, reserve personnel and veterans (honorably or medically discharged) may be eligible for the Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program. Eligibility must be determined upon re-enrollment each semester

CSM Baldassari Scholarship Memorial Scholarship
The legal children of New Jersey National Guard Members who are also members of the Enlisted Association may submit applications for consideration. Previous recipients are not eligible for subsequent awards. Also, any drilling guardsperson who is a member of this association may submit an application for the CSM Baldassari Scholarship.

Marine Corps Sgt Jeannette L. Winters Memorial Scholarship
U.S. Marine Corps candidates must be majoring in the following or related fileds of electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; mathematics; physics; science or mathematics education; technology management; management information systems; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. Intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on 4.0 scale
