Education for Children of Deceased or Disabled Florida Veterans: Florida provides four year college educational opportunities for dependent children of deceased or total and permanently disabled veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces through the Scholarships for Children of Deceased or Disabled Veterans (CDDV). Students receive monetary benefits covering certain costs at any eligible state or private post-secondary educational institution in Florida. FS 295.01

Eligibility: The parent veteran must have been a Florida resident for one year prior to the date of death or disability. Dependent children of a Florida veteran whose death or disability occurred in any of the actions specified below are exempt from the one year residency requirement for CDDV participation but still must meet residency requirements for student financial aid. FS 295.01-295.0185. The Iranian Rescue Mission (Operation Eagle Claw), the Lebanon and Grenada military actions, the military transport airplane crash in Gander, Newfoundland on December 12, 1985, the attack on the USS Starke on May 17, 1987, Operation Just Cause, Operation Desert Shield/Storm; Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program
Children and spouses of active duty, guard, reserve personnel and veterans (honorably or medically discharged) may be eligible for the Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program. Eligibility must be determined upon re-enrollment each semester

CSM Baldassari Scholarship Memorial Scholarship
The legal children of New Jersey National Guard Members who are also members of the Enlisted Association may submit applications for consideration. Previous recipients are not eligible for subsequent awards. Also, any drilling guardsperson who is a member of this association may submit an application for the CSM Baldassari Scholarship.

Marine Corps Sgt Jeannette L. Winters Memorial Scholarship
U.S. Marine Corps candidates must be majoring in the following or related fileds of electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; mathematics; physics; science or mathematics education; technology management; management information systems; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. Intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on 4.0 scale
