Free College Tuition for Military Spouses or Dependents in Alaska

Tuition for Spouses or Dependents: Free Education for spouses and/or dependents of veterans.

Eligibility: The spouse or dependent of an armed services member who either died in the line of duty or died as a result of injuries sustained while in the line of duty. Veteran was listed by the Department of Defense as a Prisoner of War or as Missing in Action. The students must be in good standing in a state-supported educational institution physically located within Alaska.

Army to pay tuition assistance direct to schools [Sep 30, 2009]
Beginning Oct. 1, active and Reserve Soldiers won't need to put money up front for tuition. Educational institutions listed at www.GoArmyEd.com will receive the tuition money directly from Army Human Resources Command.

Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program
Children and spouses of active duty, guard, reserve personnel and veterans (honorably or medically discharged) may be eligible for the Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program. Eligibility must be determined upon re-enrollment each semester

CSM Baldassari Scholarship Memorial Scholarship
The legal children of New Jersey National Guard Members who are also members of the Enlisted Association may submit applications for consideration. Previous recipients are not eligible for subsequent awards. Also, any drilling guardsperson who is a member of this association may submit an application for the CSM Baldassari Scholarship.

Marine Corps Sgt Jeannette L. Winters Memorial Scholarship
U.S. Marine Corps candidates must be majoring in the following or related fileds of electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; mathematics; physics; science or mathematics education; technology management; management information systems; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. Intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on 4.0 scale
