Iowa War Orphans Education Aid: $5,500 per year with a maximum of $27,500 of educational assistance to a dependent of a former US serviceman who was an Iowa resident who was killed in action in a combat zone on or after Sept 11, 2001. Dependents of those killed prior to Sept 11, 2001 are eligible for $600 per year with a maximum of $3,000 lifetime. Residency requirements for the dependent also apply.

Eligibility: Iowa resident for two years, Reserve components on active duty status and National Guardsmen on active duty included. No income or age limitations. Children of Veteran parents who died as a result of service between: 4/6/17 and 6/2/21; 9/16/40 and 12/31/46; 6/25/50 and 1/31/55; 8/5/64 and 5/7/75; or 8/2/90 (all dates inclusive). http://www.iowava.org/asp/orphan.asp

Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program
Children and spouses of active duty, guard, reserve personnel and veterans (honorably or medically discharged) may be eligible for the Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program. Eligibility must be determined upon re-enrollment each semester

CSM Baldassari Scholarship Memorial Scholarship
The legal children of New Jersey National Guard Members who are also members of the Enlisted Association may submit applications for consideration. Previous recipients are not eligible for subsequent awards. Also, any drilling guardsperson who is a member of this association may submit an application for the CSM Baldassari Scholarship.

Marine Corps Sgt Jeannette L. Winters Memorial Scholarship
U.S. Marine Corps candidates must be majoring in the following or related fileds of electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; mathematics; physics; science or mathematics education; technology management; management information systems; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. Intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on 4.0 scale
