Rhode Island National Guard State Tuition Assistance Program (STAP)

Rhode Island National Guard State Tuition Assistance Program (STAP): STAP covers up to five (5) tuition free classes per FALL and/or SPRING semesters, not to exceed 12 credits per semester. Previously paid funds cannot be reimbursed. Please submit your RING Form STA 30-3 (Revised 1 Oct 02) application to the education office after you register for your courses. STAP can be used in conjunction with Montgomery GI Bill.

Eligibility: This program is available to all Army and Air National Guard service members (enlisted and officer) who are pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, Masters Degree, or certification from Community College of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College, and University of Rhode Island.

Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program
Children and spouses of active duty, guard, reserve personnel and veterans (honorably or medically discharged) may be eligible for the Grantham Military Family Scholarship Program. Eligibility must be determined upon re-enrollment each semester

CSM Baldassari Scholarship Memorial Scholarship
The legal children of New Jersey National Guard Members who are also members of the Enlisted Association may submit applications for consideration. Previous recipients are not eligible for subsequent awards. Also, any drilling guardsperson who is a member of this association may submit an application for the CSM Baldassari Scholarship.

Marine Corps Sgt Jeannette L. Winters Memorial Scholarship
U.S. Marine Corps candidates must be majoring in the following or related fileds of electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; mathematics; physics; science or mathematics education; technology management; management information systems; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. Intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on 4.0 scale
