Spouse of Disabled Alabama Veteran Scholarship: Free tuition, books, and instructional fees at state institutions of higher learning or prescribed courses in trade school for a maximum of 18 months maximum. Widow(er) not entitled to benefits upon remarriage. No age limit established for initiation of training. 

Eligibility: Husband, wife, or widow of veteran with service as outlined above, who has 20% to 90% service connected disability(s) or if such veteran at time of death had 20% to 90% service connected disability(s).
