Wyoming Educational Benefits for War Orphans and Vietnam Veterans

Wyoming Educational Benefits for War Orphans and Vietnam Veterans: Free tuition and fees for education to the spouse and children of deceased veterans' (whose death is service connected). Benefits for war orphans are a tuition waiver for not more than 10 semesters of credit classes on a full or part-time basis at any of Wyoming's Community Colleges or the University of Wyoming; no expiration date; no requirement of continuous enrollment. A war orphan or veteran should apply at least two or three weeks before the beginning of the semester at any Wyoming community college or the university where he or she plans to attend. Eligibility: Parent was a resident of Wyoming at the time of entering service, died while in service during a period of war defined by law or is listed officially as being a POW or MIA in Korean or Vietnam conflicts and was honorably discharged from military forces and thereafter died of an injury or disease incurred while in service, being a resident at time of death.
